My Journey
When I began to consider the idea of having bariatric surgery, I was very excited but also really scared. However, after attending Dr. Cheregi’s informational session my fears were immediately eased. He was so informative and helped me to fully understand what was involved with the procedure.
My first few days/weeks post-surgery were challenging for me. I was questioning the decision I had made. After relaying my concerns to Dr. Cheregi, he fully supported me and encouraged me that I had made the right decision for myself. Within less than 6 months, I felt like I had gotten my life back. I am so much happier and healthier now! I was able to discontinue my cholesterol and blood pressure medication. The procedure and entire experience changed my outlook on life and food. I now feel so empowered and that nothing can stop me. I am able to play with my kids and spend time with my family. I also have goals of competing in a half marathon or even a triathlon. Ultimately, I feel so much better in my own skin. I feel like my health has improved 100%.
I am so grateful to Dr. Cheregi because he helped to not only provide me with the educational tools I would need pre and post-surgery but also helped to encourage and support me. My entire journey with him has been amazing!
