This surgery was and still is absolutely life changing! I weighed almost 300 pounds, had just had a child 9 months earlier, and was afraid that I was never going to have the energy or the ability to play with my child without having to take frequent breaks from fatigue. Two years and 9 months later, I weigh 143.6 pounds and have the energy of a teenager! Instead of sitting on the couch and watching TV non-stop, we get out of the house and go play!
Having this surgery has given me my life back! I never thought in a million years that I would be able to wear a bikini; but this summer, I tried one on and loved it! I no longer walk into a room and am embarrassed by myself and feel like people are talking about me. I have a new sense of confidence that I never thought was possible and I’m loving every minute of it. My only regret with having this surgery is that I didn’t do it sooner.
Words can’t fully describe how thankful I am for everything Dr. Cheregi has done for me and my family. To say that he’s an amazing doctor and person would be an understatement. I was very nervous at the beginning; but immediately upon meeting Dr. Cheregi, all of that nervousness went away. If I’m being totally honest, the second he walked into the room I noticed his awesome socks; I leaned over to my husband and said, “Yup, he’s the doctor for us! Did you see his amazing socks?!” I’d never felt a strong connection with a doctor before meeting him. He takes the time to actually get to know you and your situation and listens to your concerns and questions. You can tell that he truly cares for his patients and that he loves what he does.
